Cleaning Desks at the End of the Year

It is the task that we all dread....removing name tags from desks at the end of the school year.

A friend has been hassling me suggesting I try using shaving cream, which I finally did.  And guess what? It worked!  It actually worked better than Goo Gone...and it's less expensive!

I let the shaving cream sit on what was left of the name tag, and after about 15 minutes I used a paint scraper to slide it right off the desk top!

Eazy Peazy, huh?

But PLEASE no one tell her that it worked,  the last thing I need is to hear her say, "I told you so"!

GeoBoard Activities and Fun!

Today to add to our shape classifying, I got the geoboards out and let the kids have fun.  They.Loved.It.  #bestteacherever

I did use the materials out of my GeoBoard It! Pack (currently on sale, btw!...wink, wink)

...the pack was a huge hit, I must say!

I meant to take pictures of some of the recording pages where the kids record what shapes they made and plan ahead...but I just got busy!  Sorry!

Red-Eyed Tree Frogs! and a Mini-Giveaway!

Last week we read a great book about Red-Eyed Tree Frogs and so of course we had to make some...and chart our learning!
